Gfci Red And Green Lights

I have gfci outlets in my kitchen.

Gfci red and green lights. The green light is constantly on which is good but the red led flashes about once every 30 seconds. The gfci have a green indicator light on them which is on but the reset or test buttons are not working. About the receptacles above as the others have said it depends on the mfg. Some red or amber when tripped. I just installed a leviton gfci outlet and the green light is on the outlet but when i plug in a light to either the top or bottom of the outlet there is no power. It is on the same circuit as the gfci outlet.
